Easy definition of IoT

The Internet of things is a technical term used to define a network of physical objects infused with electronic devices to enable effective and efficient collection of data. It goes beyond machine to machine communications by interconnecting devices and objects with science and technology.

Thus, the IoT integration enhances data exchange between tangible objects and technology. The devices collect necessary and very useful data which can then be stored to be made available to use readily on a later date.

This co-dependent fusion evolves not only technology to smart technology but also users to smart users; and living to smarter living.
